Ron Slack is the Publisher of Good Times weekly newspaper.
A native of California, Ron’s career in the newspaper industry began in Los Angeles in 1979. After selling his publication he later moved to Chico to manage a weekly publication, and prior to joining Good Times in June of 2001, he was General Manager of the Monterey Weekly. In addition to his role as Publisher Ron serves on the Board of Directors of the Second Harvest Food Bank and chairs both their Capital Campaign committee, and their the “Hunger Fighter of the Year” committee.
