James Quist
Senior Vice-President, Coast Commercial Bank

James Quist has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry and is currently the Senior Vice-President for Coast Commercial Bank and the Regional Credit Manager for the Greater Bay Area Bancorp.  He has resided in Santa Cruz County for almost three years and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from San Jose State University and a Master’s Degree in Business and Finance from the University of Santa Clara.  His volunteer experience includes being the Director of Habitat for Humanity for Santa Cruz County from 2005 through 2006 as well as his current positions as Director of Junior Achievement for the Silicon Valley and the Monterey Bay area and Board member for the Santa Cruz County United Way. James joined the Workforce Investment Board so that he can continue his support for activities designed to prepare youth for the local employment market.
