Christina joined the Foundation in 1998 to oversee its grant making and management assistance programs. She previously
managed grant making portfolios at the Ford Foundation and the San Francisco Foundation, and served as executive director of Latino USA, a nationally broadcast radio
program of Latino news and culture. She also has experience as an educator and in health planning. Christina has an M.P.H. from UC Berkeley, an M.A from Santa Clara
University, and a B.A. from San Jose State University. She currently serves as a member of the Community Advisory Committee of KUSP Radio and on the boards of the Dominican
Hospital Foundation, the Work Force Investment Board, Health Improvement Council of Santa Cruz County, and the National Community for Latino Leadership.
