Donna Blitzer has been the Director of Government and Community Relations for the University of California at Santa Cruz since 2001. She has an extensive knowledge of the legislative process that comes from serving for almost 20 years as the Chief of Staff and later District Director for Congressional Representative Sam Farr. Donna has a degree in English Literature from UCSC and in addition to her membership on the Workforce Investment Board serves on the Boards of the Second Harvest Food Bank, O’Neill Sea Odyssey, Central Coast Small Business Development Center and the Homeless Services Center.
